Obituary For Rosemary T. Thomas

Rosemary T. Thomas, 77, of Andover, formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Bear Mountain Nursing Home in Andover, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert P. Thomas with whom she shared 51 years of marriage until his passing in 2018.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 7, 1946 and was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Regina (Sielski) Wisniewski.

Rosemary grew up in Philadelphia and attended St. Hubert’s High School. She raised her children then worked for many years as an executive assistant before getting her degree in graphic design from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia in 1996. She retired from her job in graphic design at Reed Technologies in North Wales, PA in 2016. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid crocheter. She also loved animals especially her Yorkshire terriers.

Rosemary is survived by her four sons, David Allen Thomas and his wife Christina Froehlinger of Cockeysville, MD, Paul Frank Thomas of Philadelphia, PA, Alan Michael Thomas and his wife Dora Ghetie of Phoenixville, PA, and Michael Paul Thomas and his partner Michael Andrzejewski of Peabody; and her grandchildren, Bethany Ann of Oceanside, CA, and Julia Rose Nordberg and her son-in-law Eric Nordberg of Southampton, PA. She is also survived by her niece Janice Lawson (Christopher) of Feasterville-Trevose, PA, Leonard Wisniewski (Inga) of Hamilton, MA, and Daniel Wisniewski of Philadelphia as well as her cousins Walter Wisniewski, Marilyn Kopczenski, and Joan Wisniewski of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Sadly, in addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Susan Thomas, granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Nordberg; and her brothers Leonard and Carl Wisniewski.

At the family’s request her services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to the SPCA of Pennsylvania (https://www.pspca.org/).

Michael, so sorry of your Moms passing, but glad you were with her when she passed. You were a wonderful son and took good care of her bringing her treats and visiting her in her nursing home weekly for years. Many blessings. Linda Andrzejewski
